An original production background from the Disney Studios animated Pluto short, "In Dutch" (1946). Featuring a stunning rendering of a wooden bench on a brick sidewalk between flowering tulips, the hand-painted background was created at the studio and used during the the animation process. The background represents an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the short. Each scene in an animated film will have only one background, making them more rare and hard to find. Measuring 10"x12" overall, with the image itself measuring 8" x 11", the background is in very good condition with minor paper discoloration, edge and corner wear due to age and handling.
